We are sharing with you some press articles regarding the construction works of the new Bridge over the Serchio in Lucca, specifically relating to the lifting operations of the metal deck of the viaduct accessing the bridge (we had already told you about it here: https:\/\/www .steelproject.it\/ponte-sul-fiume-serchio-2<\/a>\/ ), as well as the visit to the construction site by the president of the province, Luca Menesini, and the manager of the provincial road sector, Eng. Pierluigi Saletti. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

For the occasion we carried out an inspection of the construction site with some engineers and designers from Steel Project Engineering on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th July.<\/span><\/span> We witnessed the lifting and positioning operations of the macro-deck segments. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The project involved the construction of a three-span arch bridge for crossing the Serchio River, with a span of 80 m, 100 m and 80 m respectively, an access viaduct for crossing the floodplain on the left bank and an embankment connecting to the road to Camaiore (sp n. 1 Francigena) on the right bank. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
