progress \u2013 New Manzoni Bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"505\">Work continues on the construction of the new Manzoni Bridge along State Road SS36, a strategic infrastructure for mobility between Lecco and Pescate and part of the modernization works in preparation for the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"694\">The 772-metre-long bridge runs alongside the existing one and will enable the expansion of State Road 36 with an additional traffic lane toward Pescate-Lecco and a dedicated cycle path.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"972\">Steel Project Engineering developed the structural Executive Design of the Variant for the bridge and access ramps on behalf of <strong data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"840\">Aleandri SpA<\/strong>, the contractor, and the <strong data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"899\">erection and launching design<\/strong> of the steel decks on behalf of <strong data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"943\">MBM SpA<\/strong>, the steelwork fabricator.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"974\" data-end=\"1256\">The bridge consists of three independent composite steel-concrete decks with main spans up to 100 m crossing the Adda River, extensively using <strong data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1133\">Corten steel<\/strong> for decks, precast slabs, and side parapets \u2014 a material chosen for its durability and harmonious landscape integration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1433\">The erection phases included <strong data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1305\">nose-launching<\/strong> for the two 100-m river spans and <strong data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1361\">bottom-up lifting<\/strong> for the remaining approach spans on both the Pescate and Lecco sides.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1634\">This achievement confirms that, even in complex operating conditions and confined work areas, <strong data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1564\">targeted and coordinated design<\/strong> ensures compliance with schedules and full construction efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd17 <a
