Simone Pardini has arrived in Rwanda: Steel Project Engineering on site with Bridges to Prosperity.<\/p>\n

We are pleased to share an update that holds technical, human and symbolic value for us: Simone Pardini, one of our young engineers, has arrived in Rwanda and has already reached the project area as part of the Bridges to Prosperity initiative.<\/p>\n

A few months ago, we proudly announced our participation in this international program, which builds safe pedestrian bridges to connect isolated rural communities and reduce barriers to essential services such as education, healthcare and economic opportunities. Today, that journey becomes reality: after arriving in Kigali, Simone moved to the project district, where over the next two weeks he will take part in construction activities and operational coordination alongside an international team of volunteers.<\/p>\n

This experience is also the result of collaboration with the Italian Steel Technicians Association (CTA), which chose to turn expertise and professional commitment into tangible action: building connections that last over time. In a historical period often marked by division and barriers, projects like this remind us that engineering can be a powerful tool for unity and progress.<\/p>\n

The project involves the construction of a cable-suspended pedestrian bridge designed to improve safety and mobility for local communities. Bridges to Prosperity provides technical, organizational and safety oversight, while volunteers actively contribute to on-site activities, gaining an experience that combines engineering, teamwork and social responsibility.<\/p>\n

For Steel Project Engineering, this initiative represents a concrete way to reaffirm the true meaning of our work: designing and building structures that improve people\u2019s lives, guided by competence, methodology and a strong sense of the common good. For Simone, it is also a valuable opportunity for professional and personal growth: a construction site like this teaches not only how to build, but above all why we build.<\/p>\n
