Bridge over the river Serchio
Placed second to the international competition of ideas.
Construction of a new infrastructure to cross the river Serchio, located near to the urban center of Lucca, connecting the route SS 12 “dell’Abetone e del Brennero” and the route SP 1 “Francigena”.

The main structure consists of a through-arch bridge of a total span 220 m with a central span of 160 m and side spans sides of 35 + 35 m and two 4 – span access viaducts (spans 30+ 40×2 + 30m).
